Program Coordinator, Senior (Curriculum)
We are sad to report that current faculty member John Henry passed away on May 29, 2019.
John began his career with the Contra Costa Community College District in 2007 at Los Medanos College. He worked as an adjunct instructor in the Appliance Service and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration programs. He was hired as a full-time instructor at Diablo Valley College in the Electronics/Electricity program in 2012. Prior to that John worked at PG&E as an engineer. John was a dedicated instructor who worked hard to have his program moving in the right direction with successful graduates. John was always available to help students, not just with their studies, but helping them figure out life issues as well.
John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marcia, his son Josh and his daughter Amanda.
